NEW BUSINESSES ESTABLISHED BY DIXON RESIDENTS
The City Council adopted Ordinance 18-006 exempting new businesses established by Dixon residents, with proof of residency, from initial payment of the business license tax, excluding solicitors, peddlers and itinerant merchants. This resolution was adopted by a 5-0 vote of the Council after a successful pilot program.
Completing the Business License
You must also fill out the Hazardous Materials and Air Pollution Survey and the Worker's Compensation Declaration forms included in the application. Once you have completed the application return it to City Hall with a check for the appropriate fees.
